COLLECTION REMEDIES FOR CREDITORS IN OHIO

Ohio is a very liberal state when it comes to remedies available to Creditors and their attorneys. There are numerous remedies for post-judgment collections in Ohio. We can levy on personal or business property, attach bank accounts, garnish personal earnings, issue receiverships in case of businesses, subpoena documents to locate assets, and issue debtor’s examinations.

DOMESTICATING FOREIGHN JUDGMENT

Domestication of foreign judgments is an important tool of our collection practice. Once the foreign judgment is domesticated in Ohio, we can use any and all post-judgment remedies as if the judgment was original filed in Ohio.
